Finally one of my favorites! I myself was the owner of 2 for many years 2010 Cadillac CTS-V with 640PS & manual transmission. And even if the CTS-V does not match my predecessor, the Alpina B5s, so the supercharged V8 engine compensated for everything. But as it is now, you can tune even on a standard 564PS strong Ami still something. And what first thought comes to mind when you dive into the subject of tuning? For the masses, including myself, are the sporty sound-strong exhaust, lowered chassis and of course a significantly increased performance (Chiptuning etc.) are high on the list of priorities. Tuning also means that the vehicle should receive a highly personal touch. The viewing angle of each individual vehicle owner is just as individual. Although statistics are mostly incidental, they should not be underestimated. After all, we are talking here of 60% of all Tuningbegeisterten who first granted their car a new set of wheels and later dealt with the further measures such as chip tuning, etc. In comparison, the dimensions of the replaced rims are at least 1 inches above the sizes of the factory-original rims.
Vossen VFS-5 rims & V8 compressor
The often extremely price-intensive investment hardly leaves any deterrent marks because it actually pays off in retrospect and the design of the car is then presented in a remarkably new luster. Decisive for the highly frequented exchange of the wheelsets is, among other things, the mass suitability of the serial rims, which are often presentable. The manufacturer orients itself more towards the large target groups and less towards the individualists. On top of that, the rim selection is made using the manufacturer's configurator and that was of course also the case with this Cadillac CTS-V.
If you put together your vehicle using a configurator, there is ultimately hardly any space for a distinctive uniqueness. However, there is still a possibility to swim against the current and to be able to detach yourself from the general public. Plan B of the owner of the CTS-V includes a look at the range of Vossen Wheels. Thanks to the perfect combination, the gem is now presented even better with a Vossen Wheels VFS-5 (VFS5) wheel set in 20 inches and a silver surface. The additional modifications that can be seen in the pictures make the production model an impressive eye-catcher. The CTS-V owes its newly gained dynamism and the even sportier driving experience to the Vossen wheelset. No wonder, because the rims from Vossen Wheels are not only known in tuner circles for their first-class quality and, above all, for an exquisite range of products. With these respectable alternatives, the standard wheelsets are quickly overshadowed by the new rims.
