It's a shame, but we're unlikely to see the seven-seater VW Atlas sedan from the German Volkswagen AG in Europe. The large SUV is manufactured in the Chattanooga (Tennessee) plant in the United States and it remains that the Atlas will only be offered in the USA, Canada, Russia and the Middle East. The name VW Teramont is also used for the People's Republic of China, where the Atlas has been rolling off the assembly line at Shanghai Volkswagen's Ningbo plant since the end of March 2017. The Atlas is larger than the VW Tiguan, but cheaper than the luxury-class SUV Touareg and shows the maximum possible on the MQB platform of the Volkswagen Group. The Atlas has been on the market in the USA for a few months and the tuner Naples Speed is now showing us a first modified version. The Atlas has received a set of Vossen VFS2 (VFS-2) rims in plain silver which, with their 21 inch dimensions, seem almost lost on the 5037mm flagship.

However, if you look at the standard VW Atlas on 18-inch alloy wheels on so it is clear that the 21 inch wheelset but a significant increase. However, this also shows that without problems 24 inch rims can be mounted without appearing exaggerated or brash. Apart from the Alu's apparently nothing else has been changed on the atlas so we leave you here with the pictures alone. 🙂 If we still get some information about important changes, there is of course an update for this post. - possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
