Even if General Motors killed the Holden brand in Australia and New Zealand, Walkinshaw Performance continues to target owners of current Colorado models with a tuning package. Why not? The latest project is the "Colorado 550 Package by Walkinshaw Performance“That the Colorado gives the Colorado a much more aggressive look. The kit is limited to only 100 vehicles and, in addition to the visual changes, also brings a few minor technical improvements. At the front, the Colorado 550 from Walkinshaw Performance has a modified front including a distinctive radiator grille in black with Walkinshaw logo, there is an apron with large red towing eyes and underride protection and 550 lettering on the partly foiled hood with power dome. The 550 stickers also adorn the lower part of the doors, and the tuner has built in fender flares with mud flaps all around. A tailgate application is also included.
Powerdome, lift kit and 18 inch alloy wheels
And with regard to the technical improvements, everything revolves around a chassis lift kit for raising the vehicle by a few millimeters and forged black aluminum rims. Specifically, these are installed in the 10 × 18 inch format and equipped with powerful 285/60 Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. And to see the last feature of the tuned Colorado, you have to open the hood. There you can see the “Walkinshaw Performance Badge with X / 100”, it shows the limited availability of the kit. The package is suitable for all Colorados from model years 2018 to 2020 and can be ordered now. Price details have not yet been announced.
