News from the team around JE Engineering. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of JE Engineering is a modified Land Rover Defender which may carry the surname Zulu² and which underpins the whole thing with supercharged V8 and 480PS (up to 500PS on request). The basis for the conversion is the Defender TD5 as 110 or 90 right or left-hand drive. Visually marks the JE version with it, for example opposite the Land Rover Defender "Sixty8" from tuner Startech, the sportier alternative and is likely to reach its limits off-road. We know a few details about tuning the Land Rover Defender Zulu². What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

These are the details we know:

  • Name: Zulu2 Super Defender
  • Compressor V8 (4,2 liter from the Jaguar)
  • 480 PS (possible up to 500 PS)
  • Six-speed automatic
  • new tyres
  • stronger brakes (AP Racing)
  • new suspension
  • Stainless steel sports exhaust system
  • Price approx. 210.000 euros

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
