The KTM SX-E 3 complements the E model range and offers the perfect entry-level for aspiring young drivers. Thanks to adapted performance, smaller wheels and a lower seat height, riders are ideally supported when taking their first steps on a bike. With its success in the European Junior E-Motocross Championship, the KTM SX-E 5 is the perfect choice for young mini-cross racers. With this award, the KTM SX-E 3 not only takes its position as an electrically powered mini bike but also that of a real entry-level motorcycle. The KTM SX-E 3 offers the same high quality and advanced technology as the more powerful KTM SX-E 5. Thanks to the chrome-molybdenum frame, the robust suspension and the advanced lightweight construction, the KTM SX-E 3 offers all the features of the "big" Bikes in an even easier-to-use package. Equipped with the same permanent magnet electric motor as the KTM SX-E 5, the KTM SX-E 3 has an output of 3,8 kW.

The 60 lithium-ion cells in a 48-volt configuration offer a capacity of 648 Wh, which gives the bike around 2 hours of riding time. At the front, a non-adjustable WP XACT 35 mm USD fork with 144 mm travel compensates for bumps. At the rear, a WP shock absorber that is perfectly matched to the fork is mounted directly on the swingarm and offers 133 mm of travel. In keeping with the smaller construction, the KTM SX-E 3 is equipped with black anodized, lightweight 10-inch aluminum wheels and MAXXIS MX-ST tires at the front and rear. These are ideal for the standard seat height of 600 mm.

In addition, the seat height of the KTM SX-E 3 can be reduced to 555 mm. To do this, the body/seat are adjusted, the spring strut is mounted in a different position and the front wheel fork is lowered in the fork bridge. With regard to safety, the KTM SX-E 3 is equipped with a fall sensor, which automatically switches off the engine in the event of an accident or a fall. This is complemented by a wrist-mounted lanyard, which also shuts off the engine if the bike loses control. Its low noise level also makes the KTM SX-E 3 more attractive to younger drivers, since it can also be ridden in areas with strict noise protection regulations.

Charging the KTM SX-E 3 is simplified by an external charger with up to 900 W power. This can be connected to any 110 or 230 volt socket and is conveniently connected directly to the battery pack. It takes approximately 70 minutes to fully charge an empty battery pack. The KTM SX-E 3 sets new standards in the segment of electrically powered mini motorcycles and demonstrates KTM's commitment to supporting further developments and thus creating broad opportunities for electric mobility - starting with the mini-cross.
