Sarkcyber Technology brings the new electric scooter out of the dynamic streets of Shanghai HC 200 Ursa on the market. For a price of EUR 4.390, interested parties can acquire a sleek piece of electromobility that combines design, sustainability and cutting-edge technology. Sarkcyber, founded in 2021, focuses on electrically powered two-wheelers and has already developed various innovative scooter concepts. The Sarkcyber team consists of former experts from Honda's two-wheeler division, who are now putting their passion and expertise into new, sustainable mobility solutions.
Sark Cyber HC 200 Ursa
With the HC 200 Ursa, Sarkcyber will present its latest model in spring 2023. The e-scooter impresses with a top speed of 70 km/h and a range of 75 kilometers. The vehicle weighs just 107 kilograms. The electric scooter is therefore perfectly designed for urban space and its surroundings. At its heart is an electric wheel hub motor that drives the rear wheel directly and delivers 2,5 kW (3,5 hp). According to the manufacturer, even a short-term Peak power of up to 4 kW (over 5 hp) be achieved.
With up to 4 kW and 70 km/h through the city
The lithium-ion battery of the HC 200 Ursa has a capacity of 60 volts and 45 Ah therefore and allows a range of 75 kilometers – based on a constant speed of 45 km/h. A full charge is possible in about three hours from a standard socket. And he has different driving modes: Economic, standard and Dynamic as well as a slow one reverse gear for shunting. Thanks to the low weight of 107 kg the scooter is easy to handle. Equipped with standard telescopic forks at the front and an aluminum swingarm at the rear, the HC 200 Ursa even has a composite brake system (CBS) to offer.
It also has a modern digital display with connectivity and smartphone app, USB socket, a radio key system and LED lights all around. And under the seat there is an additional luggage compartment next to the glove compartment. As an option, Sarkcyber also has the HC 200 Ursa in one 45 km/h variant at the start, which has a maximum output of 2 kW (3 hp) and also has a range of up to 75 kilometers. The Sarkcyber HC 200 Ursa is in Europe according to the regulations in force from the age of 16 with the driving license class AM or a car driving license of the class B authorized. For the open version, which reaches up to 70 km/h, the driving license class in Germany is A1 or the car driver's license extension B196 are required for operation.
Availability and prices of the HC 200 Ursa
From July 2023 the HC 200 Ursa will be available in Italy through the MBP/Keeway dealer network, however for the time being only in the 70 km/h version for EUR 4.390. There is currently no information about the availability and prices in Germany. The Sarkcyber HC 200 Ursa is a sleek new alternative in the electric scooter category. It is perfectly suited for short-distance traffic and especially for city traffic, thanks to its top speed of 70 km/h and a range of 75 kilometers.
With its relatively low weight of 107 kilograms and modern equipment, it positions itself as an attractive offer in the growing market for electromobility. Equally interesting is the performance variant with 45 km / h top speed for the "50s" category. Despite the top speed limitation, the range of the HC 200 Ursa remains unchanged at 75 kilometers, making it an attractive option for younger or less experienced drivers. But no matter which variant you choose, the Sarkcyber HC 200 Ursa brings a fresh breeze from Shanghai into the world of electric scooters.
