The rumor mill about the Lamborghini Urus SUV is currently boiling hot. It is not yet clear that Lamborghini will bring the mega SUV, nor has a decision been made as to which motorization the off-road vehicle would get. Lamborghini boss Stephen Winkelmann, however, only recently indicated that “if” the car would be turbo-charged or even a plug-in hybrid system could be possible.

Update from "29.05.2015": There is new information which of course we can not withhold from you. Lamborghini has now officially confirmed that the at least 600 PS strong Urus in the year 2018 will come on the market. Here are some details about the mega-SUV:
- third model of the brand
- Platform based on the Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg
- possibly with V8 biturbo engine (possibly with hybrid drive)
- at least 600 PS
- The main markets will be the USA, China, the Middle East, Great Britain, Germany and Russia
- Targeted annual sales of approx. 3000 units
- Total investment in the high three-digit million range
- 500 new jobs
