MPS Engineering - 490PS in the Nissan GT-R R33 V-Spec

Reading time <1 Min.

The team around MPS Engineering has just presented a new performance-enhanced car on its Facebook timeline. You can see a modified Nissan GT-R R33 V-Spec which is now on the road with a hefty 490PS and over 500NM and should cause some surprised looks on the highway. The company didn't really post a lot more details, but what was important was included. What we have been able to learn and have recognized ourselves, we provide you in a summary below. We also miss something, so if you should discover any further changes we would be happy if you let us know in the "comment box".

These are the details we know:

  • unknown lowering (coil springs, sport springs or coilover suspension !?)
  • Performance increase to 490PS and over 500NM - (Garrett GT2860, 550 injectors, Bosch 044 fuel pump, Ecumaster EMU)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)
  • matt golden approx. 18 inch large aluminum wheels

We have written to the tuner and asked if he can send us more details about the conversion.

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
