A good 90% of the time everyone who wants to tune their car comes up with the idea of installing a new set of alloy wheels. Even before an increase in performance by means of chip tuning or lowering, new alloy wheels are statistically the most popular tuning utensil. Understandable because the standard rims are often not necessarily ugly but very much trimmed to mainstream optics and of course not very individual. What could be more obvious than looking around on the BBS shelf to see if there is a fancy alternative to the factory-installed wheelset? The TVW Car Design Team did just that on its company bus and swapped the standard rims for a BBS CI-R wheel set.
If you take a closer look at the rim selection from BBS, we will understand why! BBS primarily stands for quality, there is also an appealing selection of different designs and as you can see there was something suitable for the T5 bus. Of course we would like to show you the whole thing with pictures and have therefore decided to introduce the car to you. In addition to the visually appealing and well-fitting aluminum rims, the T5 bus has received a few other modifications that we are only aware of from the photos, unfortunately we have not yet had any technical information.
Information about the VW T5
No matter the main focus of the car is clearly on the aforementioned BBS CI-R wheelset which, as already mentioned, certainly does not miss the standard rims and is an absolute asset to the van. I think the car immediately looks more dynamic and sporty, which can never be wrong and the mega conspicuous advertising foiling naturally does the rest. We took a closer look at the car and made a few comparisons with the production version and were able to add the aluminum's notice one or the other change. What we do directly from the TVW Car Design Team have experienced and recognized for yourself, we provide you with a summary below as usual. Should you notice any further changes, we would be happy if you post them in the "comment box", we will then add them to the post as soon as possible.

These are the known changes to the series of the VW T5:
- BBS forged wheels CI-R flowforming wheel in 2 colors (driver side platinum silver matt and passenger side matt black, front axle 9,5 × 20 rear axle 10,5 × 20 inches)
- All-round advertising film by Folien-Tuning.com (All2design - media design & stationery - Laura Friedrich Designs)
- Lowering (KW coilovers V3 Plus)
- Wind deflector on the front doors
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
We are sure that we will receive some information and definitely new pictures and videos in the next few weeks. As soon as this is the case, we will of course add to the article and inform you about it.
