What first thought comes to mind when you dive into the subject of tuning? For the masses, including myself, are the sporty sound-strong exhaust, lowered chassis and of course a significantly increased performance (Chiptuning etc.) are high on the list of priorities. Tuning also means that the vehicle should receive a highly personal touch. The viewing angle of each individual vehicle owner is just as individual. Although statistics are mostly incidental, they should not be underestimated. After all, we are talking here of 60% of all Tuningbegeisterten who first granted their car a new set of wheels and later dealt with the further measures such as chip tuning, etc. In comparison, the dimensions of the replaced rims are at least 1 inches above the sizes of the factory-original rims. The often extremely expensive investment leaves hardly any chilling traces, because it really pays off in retrospect and presents the design of the car afterwards in a remarkably new gloss.
The decisive factor for the highly frequented exchange of wheel sets is likely to be, among other things, the suitability for mass use of the standard rims, which are often presentable. However, the manufacturer orients itself more towards the large target groups and less towards the individualists. On top of that, the rim selection is made using the manufacturer's configurator, which of course was also the case with this VW Scirocco R. If you put your vehicle together using a configurator, there is ultimately hardly any space for an unmistakable uniqueness. However, there is still a possibility to swim against the current and to be able to detach yourself from the general public. The Scirocco's owner's plan B includes a look at the range of Z-Performance Wheels on offer. Thanks to the perfect combination, the piece of jewelery is now presented even better with a ZP.09 wheel set. The additional modifications that can be seen in the pictures make the production model an impressive eye-catcher. The strikingly green Scirocco R owes the newly gained dynamism and the even sportier driving experience to the 20 inch Z-Performance Wheels ZP.09 wheelset in dark gray. No wonder, because the rims from Z-Performance Wheels are not only known in tuner circles for their first-class quality and, above all, for an exquisite range of products. With these respectable alternatives, the standard wheelsets are quickly overshadowed by the new rims. Further information on tuning measures carried out on the Scirocco R can currently only be found in the photos and what the tuner has published.
