The Nissan GTR R34 is a legendary car and currently one of the most sought-after models among Japanese sports car fans. It has a long history full of successes and technical innovations. The Nissan GTR R34 was built from 1999 to 2002 and is the fifth generation the Skyline GT-R, a range of high-performance vehicles that has existed since 1969. The R34 is characterized by its design, which features a short body, round headlights, large rear spoiler and wide radiator grille. The popular one is hidden under the hood 2,6-liter straight-six with two turbochargers that produces up to 280 hp. The R34 also has all-wheel drive, an electronic stability program, a six-speed manual transmission and a multifunctional display that shows various vehicle data.

The Nissan GTR R34 is not only a beautiful car, but also a very rare one. Only about 12.000 vehicles were sold worldwide, and most of them remained in Japan. In Germany it is very difficult to find an R34 because it was not officially imported and must meet strict emissions regulations. According to various sources, there are only a few dozen R34s in Germany, most of which are conversions of other Skyline models or gray imports from other countries. If you currently narrow down your search in the major car exchanges accordingly, you will find between 8 and 10 vehicles. If things go well, there may be 2-3 “real” R34s. The rest has been rebuilt.
Under €40.000? Currently not possible!
The prices for an R34 in Germany are very high and can range between 40.000 and an incredible 280.000 EUR, depending on the condition, equipment and origin. You can try German car exchanges like mobile.de or AutoScout24 to browse for current offers, but be prepared to act quickly because demand is high and supply is tight.
Pay attention to private ads on eBay or classifieds!
You can also look for private sellers who want to sell their R34, but be careful because there are currently a lot of scammers and counterfeiters on the market. Of course, you always have to inspect the vehicle in person, check the documents and take a test drive before you sign a purchase contract. An appraiser can't hurt either.
