Sold out in just 2 minutes: the BRABUS 1300 R!

The BRABUS 1300 R, the first bike in the brand new partnership between Austrian motorcycle specialists KTM and BRABUS, the German experts in luxury mobility, completely sold out on the KTM website in less than two minutes. Online sales of the brand new, limited edition naked bikes started on Monday, February 14, 2022 at exactly 15 p.m. and it only took exactly one minute and 55 seconds for all 154 ultra-exclusive BRABUS 1300 R motorcycles to be available from end customers on the pre-order platform reserved by KTM on the Internet. This means that one BRABUS 1300 R was sold every second, ending a launch weekend that drew enormous public attention. The BRABUS 1300 R luxury naked bike is not only the first BRABUS motorcycle of all time, it also represents the beginning of the official partnership between KTM Sportmotorcycle GmbH and BRABUS GmbH. The two companies have set themselves the goal of building unique and innovative luxury motorcycles that clearly stand out from the KTM product portfolio.

BRABUS 1300 R

The BRABUS 1300 R is an intriguing new addition to BRABUS' lineup of bespoke, high-performance luxury vehicles, fusing BRABUS' signature "Black and Bold" design language with the sophisticated platform of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO. This motorcycle combines the incredible performance of the impressive 1 cm301 V-twin engine with outstanding handling thanks to semi-active WP suspension technology and driver-oriented electronic driver assistance systems. The short time it took for all 3 Rs to be sold out is unprecedented in the industry and the lightning-fast succession of pre-orders means that many other potential customers have not been able to fulfill their wishes. KTM has therefore set up an online waiting list that offers prospective buyers the chance to get hold of a BRABUS 1300 R if one of the pre-orders received is canceled.
