This Ford Mustang Eleanor comes from the YouTube channel “Woodworking Art” and is completely handcrafted from wood. It interprets the design of a Ford Mustang from 1967 and hopefully has no legal consequences. In the last few weeks we have experienced that differently when a real vehicle was not allowed to be built due to copyright infringements. Yes, back to the smaller replica. After the basic shape of the car has been drawn on two pieces of wood, the model is painstakingly carved by hand. Two pieces of wood are attached to the sides, the builder carves the roof section into shape, and gradually the classic American muscle car is created.

The builder only gets help from a chisel and a saw to be able to work on some finer details. The result is a filigree trunk lid, a successful bonnet and the doors to the surrounds for the windshield and the rear window are exactly reproduced. He even goes to the trouble of making a tiny replica gas cap. The replica particularly impresses us with the fact that it even has a complete interior. Including gear lever, motor and the seats. Insane!
