1967 Ford Mustang "Flashback" from Classic Design Concepts!

The Team of Classic Design Concepts recently set up this 1967 Ford Mustang "Flashback" with a supercharged V8. And of course we would like to show you the unique piece. At that time, the basis for the 1967 model year, compared to its predecessor, was heavily redesigned inside and out by Ford to accommodate the Pony car to make them fit for the future. The biggest change under the hood of the SEMA car was the introduction of the big block V8 variant under the guise of the FE and the Cobra Jet. But this vehicle from Classic Design Concepts is something very special compared to its already very rare colleagues. This is because it is the company's first fully restored vehicle. Quasi the number 001! And the Classic Design Concepts Flashback Mustang is currently on sale from RK Motors Charlotte for USD 109.900.

Ford Racing 5,4 liter V8 supercharger

For the money, there is a 600-hp, 5,4-liter supercharged V8 from Ford Racing, which has a forged crankshaft, aluminum cylinder heads and two overhead camshafts. The heart of this is an Eaton M122 compressor with a displacement of 2,0 liters, which delivers power to a 4 inch (approx. 70 cm) Moser rear axle with a 9,0 ratio via the built-in 23R3,70W automatic transmission with four gears. And of course the Mustang has also been completely restored and rebuilt from the smallest screw on. It has a subtle Sherwin-Williams paint job and the interior is almost as good as new. For example, there was a lot of individual bi-color leather and countless amenities that we know from current vehicles. For example, the keyless one is worth mentioning Keyless go accesshaving a JVC radio Rockford Fosgate sound system, Subwoofer and amplifier in the fully lined trunk or the nice flush-fitDoor lock pins as well as the polished gear lever.

Wilwood sports brake system & 18-inch Forgeline rims

A numbered badge is also installed as an eye-catcher and further highlights are the stylish new instruments or the 3-spoke aluminum sports steering wheel. And of course the Mustang also got a new adjustable chassis from the present and since the conversion the load has been braked all around with the Wilwood sports brake system, which sits behind 18-inch Forgeline rims. Even a fully functional air conditioning system is installed. Incidentally, Classic Design Concepts uses 1006 car steel for newly manufactured body parts. Each new component is stronger than the original from back then and the weight of the vehicle is kept roughly at the standard level thanks to a fiberglass hood and a few other lightweight components. So if you are interested in the unique piece, you should grab it now. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report.
