A quad faster than most cars? Is there! Namely the Engler FF SUPERQUAD 5.2 V10, which usually has around 850 hp. But on request, "well" over 1.000 hp are also possible! And such a specimen is this bright yellow bullet. If there is one quad that attracts attention, it is most certainly the Engler FF Superquad. It belongs to a completely different ATV category and, unlike the usual off-road ATVs, is extremely close to the ground. And the hybrid of motorcycle and super sports car has an incredible power-to-weight ratio. Shmee is lucky enough to take a closer look at the piece before it is in Salon Prive in the UK. The Engler Superquad is an idea by the Slovak Victor Engler. It is operated like a motorcycle, with gas and brakes on the handlebars, everything else is reminiscent of a thoroughbred super sports car, including the front and rear.
5,2-liter V10 with bi-turbo charging in the rear
And the highlight is the engine. The 5,2-liter V10 from the Audi R8 is installed, but it was given two turbochargers. The engine is mounted at the rear and sends an insane 1.100 hp (820 kW) to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. This means the Engler Superquad goes from 2,5 to 0 km / h in just 100 seconds and reaches a top speed of 350 km / h. However, it is more than questionable whether you will still sit upright on the handlebars. Only 10 of the crazy monsters are built per year and as Shmee mentioned, the units are already sold for the next 1 to 2 years.
