As we know, the first generation Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most iconic cars in American history. It has an almost timeless design which makes it possible for the fan base to both unchanged vehicles as well as so-called Restomods loves. The original Camaro, built between 1967 and 1969, was based on the former F-body platform with rear-wheel drive from GM and could be ordered either as a two-door coupe or as a convertible with a choice of in-line six-cylinder or V8 engines. And while many want to own such a classic as a production vehicle, there are others who want a "Restomod". And for them the absolutely crazy one should "Impulse" Camaro to be interesting. The basis for the huge conversion is a coupe from the year 1968 and the team from was responsible for the one-off Bonnell's Rod Shop in Fairview, Pennsylvania (United States).

The Camaro auction starts in May

The Camaro is from May 14th to 22th in Indianapolis, Indiana, through Mecum Auctions. And the vehicle is not unknown in the scene. He has already mastered a number of SEMA appearances and there are also many photos and videos of the vehicle on the Internet. But what was actually done on the classic? The extremely aggressive styling is enhanced by a 17,7 cm shorter body staged and that too 10 centimeters Chopping from the roof and the resulting smaller panes contribute a lot to the crouched appearance.

Also a specially made one rear End with completely new apron and Taillight unit as well as a small one Ducktail spoiler lip are at bright yellow Camaro installed.

And under the massive bonnet?

There sits a 360ci (5,9 liter) V8 engine with one 8-stack V8 throttle body kit and there is also a Holley EFI management system (Fuel injection) as well as a specially made one Sports exhaust system with sidepipes installed. Incidentally, the monster is slowed down with a 13-inch Wilwood disc brakes.
