Not easy when you have to choose between the distinctive sound of a German V10 engine or an American V10. This drag racing video shows both engines in a breathtaking shell. On the one hand the last built Dodge Viper of the fifth generation with 8.4 liter V10 and on the other side the Audi R8 with Lamborghini V10 and 5,2 liter displacement. And the video also shows how both vehicles compete against each other in a drag race. And have both vehicles not the original V10 vacuum cleaner under the hood, but a modified variant. That is, tuned front engine against tuned middle engine. The 8,4-liter V10 of the Viper has around 700 HP (522 KW) and the R8 of the second generation with all-wheel drive and dual clutch gearbox is supposed to achieve around 2 HP (680 kW) by means of stage 500 tuning and an exhaust upgrade. Incidentally, the race takes place on a runway with a rolling start. This puts the all-wheel drive advantage of the R8 into perspective. Have fun watching the video!
