In the middle of last year, ABT Sportsline bought the Audi A8 D5 (internal type designation 4N) known to the ABT SPORT GR rims in 22 inches made suitable. And in the fall there was a first virtual Preview of a subtle aerodynamic package for the Ingolstadt. And exactly this aerodynamic kit is now completed. As expected, it is extremely discreet, which of course considering the vehicle class is a good choice. Conspicuous fender widening, huge air intakes or a fixed rear wing would probably disfigure the luxury liner unnecessarily. ABT therefore decided to create a discreet spoiler lip for the front bumper that fits seamlessly into the lines of the first production Audi from the new designer Marc Lichte integrated. And also the rear skirt has been made. Here you can install a rear apron approach with integrated diffuser optics at first glance, probably only the connoisseur immediately catches the eye.

And the same applies to the filigree spoiler lip on the tailgate. Again, you have to look at 2 x in order to perceive it at all. The presented presentation vehicle is an A8 55 TFSI Quattro, which also carries the aforementioned 22 inch ABT SPORT GR wheelset with BiColor design. Now, in our opinion, only a subtle lowering by about 30 mm to take the A8 a little bit the leggy. Under the bonnet, ABT will also be upgrading if you wish. The production model of the 3.0 TDI with 286 PS (210 kW) and 600 Nm gives the company an increase in performance on 330 PS (243 kW) and 650 Nm by means of the ABT Engine Control (AEC) control unit, which still retains all factory protection functions of the engine.
also for the interior there are small changes
For the interior, however, the well-known applications in the form of an ABT gear knob cap, a new start-stop button made of carbon or the well-known ABT door entry lighting available. We assume that you also for the 60 TDI (from 2019) V8 (VW EA898) with factory 435 PS plans a performance increase and also the gasoline 55 / 60 / 70 TFSI will probably not remain untouched.
