Video: Sleeper BMW 3 Series E30 with +1.000 hp under the hood!

If that's not a real one Sleeper is what then!? The term sleeper was invented for heavily modified vehicles that are mostly standard on the outside, but hide significantly more power under the hood. And Joseph's E30 BMW is one such vehicle. The basis was a "normal" 1991 318is, the only mighty Wheel arches owns behind. And a lot of work has gone into the E30, including a full one Repainting. Since then, an M50 straight-six has also been installed instead of the M42 four-seater and the fully modified and turbocharged M50 seems to outperform 1.000 PS, even if it has never been on a test stand before. However, the 3 Series managed to beat a Lamborghini Huracán BiTurbo on the drag strip, which is saying something. And the unique is even NOS capable. There was also a new one Suspension and a wheel hub with five wheel nuts instead of four for the rims. However, it is not really reliable “yet”. Why? You can see that in the video!

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
