The following Drag RACE could also be described as a generational battle between two performance sedans. On the one hand, the brand new one starts BMW i4 M50 (G26) and on the other hand there is the somewhat outdated 340i of the F30 generation. But the latter is no longer standard, but modified and since then even stronger than the current G80 M3 Competition. A quick look at the technical data shows, however, that the i4 with 544 PS & 795 Nm still ahead. The M3,0i's 340-liter inline-six turbocharged engine does perform 550 PS, the 691 Nm torque but they are a good bit less than those of the i4 M50. Especially since the higher torque kicks in almost immediately. Again, don't forget the massive weight difference between the two. The Stromer weighs almost 550 kg more than the F30.
