The BMW M3 is one of the most popular track tools ever. So it is not surprising that Urban Motors from Eschweiler near Aachen also approached the vehicle to optimize it for the circuit. After all, it is in the nature of many BMW disciples to venture out onto the race track with their automobile darling. We would like to present the vehicle of the tuning company from NRW to you today.
Racing parts as far as the eye can see!
The first to fall is the one that can be adjusted in height and inclination GT Flex Carbon Rear Wing Aerodynamics proudly displayed on the M3's trunk lid. There are also race parts on the bow, for example in the form of a Carbon front splitter, which also comes from Aerodynamics and actually quotes the front of the limited M4 GTS. In terms of wheels, you put on OEM rims from BMW of the Sternspeiche-666 type (forged wheels), although we do not know whether the model designation is intended to reflect the true character of the vehicle or is just a coincidence. The format of the rims is 9×20 inches on the front axle and 10×20 inch rims on the drive axle.
Within the tire choice Urban Motors used Michelin PS4S tires, which are 265/30 R20 on the steering axle and 285/30 R20 on the rear axle. However, the vehicle can also be taken along for special uses on the circuit 18 inch semislicks be equipped. For improved handling on the race track, add another KW Clubsport 2-way coilover kit with whose compression and rebound damping can be adjusted separately. In order to optimally decelerate in all situations, we found Racing brake pads Endless on the front axle and Pagid on the rear axle find their way to the vehicle. For better cooling at maximum load, the brake system also received special Air ducts.
500 hp provide powerful thrust!
The double-charged three-liter straight-six petrol engine, which has a moderate performance increase got, now generates whopping 500 PS & 620 Nm maximum torque. The potent Dingolfinger sends the power to the rear wheels either via a six-speed manual gearbox or via a dual-clutch gearbox. Unfortunately, we have no information on this, nor on the driving performance after the performance optimization. Our conclusion: A track tool, as it is in the book. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
