What BMW has earned with the M2 Competition, or even the new generation of the 8er, has come in the last weeks full pot with the facelift of the G11 / G12 7er back. While the gigantic kidneys look anything but harmonious in the new X5, they are an absolute no-go for many at the 7er. Incidentally, we are counting on it! But the car designer and 3D artist Aksyonov Nikita has now thought about how to smooth things over a bit. His train of thought shows two modifications that we will probably never see in series on the 7 Series. On the one hand there is the "Touring" body variant, on the other hand it is paired with a real M-engine. Although there have been some interesting studies of the luxury class BMW in the past, such as the Gran Lusso from Pininfarina and even a real BMW 735i Touring E23 from 1981, serial production was never an option!
However, we like the virtual studies by Aksyonov very much. The design is restrained and especially the many black accents make the M7 Touring look extremely sporty. From the optional M-Performance program, there was also a spoiler lip for the front bumper, small rocker panels and an M-typical bumper at the rear including a diffuser and 4-pipe sports exhaust system. By the way, Aksyonov also designed an individual convertible and a "standard" xDrive-Touring. Our personal highlight, however, is the 7 Series Coupe that Nikita put on a set of dark gray sports rims. Which one do you like best?
