In China it is Cadillac CT5 an extremely popular tuning object and is particularly popular with young customers. In the USA, on the other hand, it is considered more of a conservative old man's car that is not often associated with tuning. Car tastes and groups of buyers are so different, depending on where you are on the globe. Today we would like to introduce you a restyling kit called "PRISM" for the current CT5, which is made by the Chinese company Robot Craftsman comes. It's already available for pre-order and should be out soon.
Multi-part set creates a new look!
The multi-part bodykit, in which all components also can be ordered individually includes a modified front bumper, a front lip, a redesigned hood, wide side skirts, a rear spoiler as well as a heavily revised rear apron diffuser. The components of the kit are made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer and the price is the equivalent of around €4.000. If, on the other hand, the entire kit is to be made of visible carbon, then around €6.000 will be required for the restyling. As far as we know, the kit fits all engines introduced in 2020 CT5 and turns the conservatively designed luxury class sedan into a real eye-catcher. The black vehicle from the pictures is of course much lower and has rims from the accessories installed.

The standard engine is currently a 2-liter turbo petrol engine with 237 PS & 350 Newton meters of maximum torque, but the range of engines will soon be expanded downwards and a 1,5-liter turbo petrol engine with four cylinders and an expected 211 PS & 270 Newton meters of maximum torque optionally finds its way into the CT5. Fans of classic six-cylinder engines don't miss out either, because the vehicle is also available with a 2,7-liter V6 turbo petrol engine that generates 335 hp and a maximum torque of a hefty 550 Newton meters. It only looks poor with regard to electrification, because hybrid versions or even a purely electric variant have so far been searched in vain.
Our conclusion:
- A cool body kit that has the advantage that all components can also be ordered individually. Thus, it offers many customization options for the small purse.
