Does the luxury SUV Lexus RX (AGL20) light up with a Japanese body kit? Actually, the matrix LED headlights at the factory should be enough, right? The technology illuminates the street perfectly and hides oncoming cars or reflective signs exactly. And since the revision in 2018, Lexus has also offered the new technology as so-called BladeScan technology. And optically, some details have been redesigned on the large SUV. The Japanese thick ship now leaves a sporty impression, but at the same time the revised chassis has still been designed for leisurely travel. Why do you do something like that? Especially the dynamic F-Sport version with 313 PS should work a little more aggressively.

The hybrid combination of a 3,5-liter V6 petrol engine and two electric motors provide all-wheel drive for the RX on the one hand and the sprint to 100 km / h in just 7,7 seconds on the other. And the seven-seater long version 450hL is only allowed to drive 180 km / h And with 313 hp, we don't understand it! And that's why we don't understand why the Japanese tuner Tom's has now tailored a body kit for the RX. Even more sportiness for a vehicle with 2,2 tons that can hardly be surpassed in comfort? So you are the Japanese! Since most motorways are not allowed to drive faster than 100 km / h anyway, the concept on the part of Lexus and Tom's is somehow understandable.

But what is part of the body kit? Basically, there are only a few attachments with a typical Japanese design. The front apron receives an additional spoiler, there are striking panels for the side skirts and the rear is given a diffuser look with four horizontal fins. There is also a new wheel set in glossy black for the exhibition vehicle (RX450h) and the upgrade is complete. All in all, unspectacular changes for an unspectacular vehicle.
