V8 Power paired with a Bluetec? Chrometec makes it possible

What could be nicer than enjoying the sound of a V8 in a Mercedes ML W166? Stupid only if the marriage was at stake and therefore the signature was placed on the ML W166 350 BlueTEC! Not that the 350 diesel is a bad choice, the sound of the thick V8 is just not included. Now the well-known company Chrometec from Kleinrinderfeld in Bavaria for Mercedes SLK-Tuning has developed a sound module that solves precisely this problem.

The company developed a sound module that, at the push of a button, turns the 350 BlueTEC into the 4,6 liter V8 with 408 hp, at least in terms of sound. If you would like it to be even more individual, you can choose from a maximum of 6 different sound profiles in the style of a thick V8 engine. The selection is controlled via a button, you can hear the whole thing via the supplied sound module, which is controlled by the specially developed software and of course defies the weather. Technically, Chrometec is based on the Active Sound System from Audi. (6-cylinder biturbo engine) The Chrometec sound module has the advantage that you don't have to experience the same sound every day but can easily select it. The volume can of course also be varied. If you have enough of the V8 sound you can always fall back on the background noise of the production version. (A big advantage especially on long motorway journeys etc.) The set is also available for the Mercedes SLK R172 250CDI and the Mercedes C Class W204 with a similar technical implementation.
