PP-Performance took on the VW Golf GTI VII with the film specialist Camshaft and improved the optics as well as the engine performance. As the only tuner "known to us" at the moment, it is now possible with PP-Performance to tune the GTI "without" a tuning box.

Abu Dhabi-based tuner PP-Performance has recently opened a base in Germany with Camshaft.
The knowledge gained there was immediately implemented on the new Golf VII GTI Performance. The 300hp that can now be achieved instead of the 230hp ex works are already different with the Golf.
PP performance boss Jimmy Pelka himself has cracked the encryption code of the Wolfsburg and now gives an outlook on possible 320PS / 440Nm and 340PS / 460NM.
In order to achieve this performance, however, another charge air cooler, another downpipe and an open intake are required. Camshaft takes on the part for the performance and installs a different chassis including a stabilizer kit with 19-inch TEC wheels.
The carbon professional Mücke also had to help to widen the rear wheel arches by 3,5 cm on each side via GRP. The tuning was done on the paintwork in a more visually discreet way, the Golf GTI Performance received an unmistakable dash of color through a mint-matt-metallic foil and black contrasting surfaces.
