Can you still remember the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 from BBM Motorsport recall? We reported about it in April 2016 and the days the Z06 crossed our screen again and brought 2 Swiss nationals with it. Reason enough to take a closer look at all three of us! The Vette has been around for more than half a century and actually it is THE sports car dream from America. Starting with the legendary C1 of the 50s to the striking C2-Sting Ray up to the current C7, the Vette triggers this "want to have" feeling in hundreds of thousands. If an individualized copy then comes, of course, this thought is amplified many times over. In the end, only a whole bunch of Vetten can top that like this photo shoot. All three were refined by the Corvette specialists from BBM Motorsport and there was basically a uniform tuning concept.
The top model is without a doubt the red and black #BLACKBOOTYMONSTER Z06 from our link above. As already mentioned, there is now a supercharged 6,2-liter V8 instead of the standard 659 PS, now a brilliant 700 PS and over 900 NM torque and all without chip tuning. The jump in performance is achieved by means of the Air Intake System and a high-quality Capristo Exhaust Systems sports exhaust system. Visually, the in-house aerodynamic parts on the bow and flanks are still installed in 2017. The wheelset comes from OZ Racing and is of the Ultraleggera HLT (lightweight rim) type. The dimensions with 10 × 19 inches ET40 and 12 × 20 inches ET57 are absolutely perfect to completely fill the wheel arch with Michelin sports tires in the format 285 / 30R19 and 335 / 25R20. In our opinion, a nice gimmick is the tire style tire lettering that has been becoming more and more common recently. A year later, the visual highlight is the full film in black / red applied by SL Premium.
# KÄVINCORVETTE
The other two floors are no less spectacular. The “normal” C7 in black, red and silver can be found under the hashtag # KÄVINCORVETTE and is also a BBM vehicle. Here, too, the design of the film comes from Miletic Design and this Vette also looks unmistakable with it. The highlight here are definitely the names of the inmates # KÄVIN and # MÄNDIE. The background to the word games is the BBM # KÄVINshop, which can be reached at www.kaevin.de.
Finally, we would of course also like to mention the #RAINBOWCORVETTE which lives up to its name. A brightly colored foil dress ensures an unmistakable look. Both the RAINBOW CORVETTE and the KÄVINCORVETTE got a BBM front spoiler and BBM side skirts in the Z06 design and both are on new alloy wheels. The "Fondmetal by Drewske made for BBM" aluminum rims in 8,5 × 19 inches with an ET45 front and rear can be found in the wheel arches with a massive 11 × 20 inch ET70. The original Michelin tires have also been installed in these two vehicles, what does the 245 / 35R19 front and rear 285 / 30R20 slippers mean.
And since these two projectiles were of course completely underpowered with the factory output, too, a performance increase had to be made here. The # KÄVINCORVETTE comes with 483 PS and 617 Nm and the #RAINBOWCORVETTE can look forward to 502 PS and 640 Nm with the Air Intake System and the stainless steel Capristo flap exhaust system (made by BBM). You ask now for sure why the engine power is different? This is due to the series spread of the LT1 V8 engines.
