Tuning and customizing cars are still very popular: However, in the recent past, the specialists at JMS Fahrzeugteile have had the impression that the designs of relevant offers such as body kits are becoming increasingly similar and one-sided. In order to counteract this, the team from Walddorfhäslach is now again developing body components individually adapted for specific models. In this way, the parts can be integrated into the design of the respective vehicle as if from a single source and, unlike in some cases, do not look like foreign objects. The JMS Racelook Exclusive Line styling package for the new VW Golf 8 was designed according to this philosophy.
Single or double tailpipes
The kit, which is registered for design protection due to its exceptional appearance, is expected to be available from September 2020. This design study now offers a first outlook. The front complements JMS with a spoiler lip that extends the apron by about three centimeters downwards and perfectly continues its factory line: to the left and right there are two larger air intakes, with a wide opening in between, which shows a diffuser look through several vertical struts. Other innovations at the front of the study are various red accents that provide a GTI look. The new design is perfectly continued with side skirts, while a diffuser insert acts as a highlight at the rear: this allows openings for single or double tailpipes on the left and right. Since it is supplied without cutouts, it is possible to fully adapt it to the customer's respective exhaust system.
8,5 × 19 inches with 225 / 35er tires
The popular Barracuda Tzunamee EVO light alloy rims served as the perfect rounding off. With their strikingly asymmetrical Y-spoke design and the dark gunmetal brushed finish, they are 8,5 × 19 inches with 225/35 tires mounted on the axles. In this case, red Barracuda Racing Bolts are used for fastening. The lowering of the Golf is achieved by JMS in cooperation with KW by installing a coilover kit. In addition, various other components such as performance optimizations and exhaust systems are also already being planned.
