Almost a bit more popular as the classic vintage cars are the so-called Restomod vehicles. These are oldtimers that are equipped with up-to-date components and often do not correspond to the former series at second glance. However, this is immediately obvious with this Kaiser Jeep M715 Pickup (G-890) from the year 1967. With such a fat tire (42 inches super swamper tire) and the raising of the Dana 60 front axle with coil spring suspension and the floating Dana 70 rear axle, the pickup, also known colloquially as the "five quarter (ton)", never existed. And the huge GM 350 V8 under the hood, including the Oldsmobile automatic transmission coupled to it, was never installed in the "Kaiser".

But the result should probably provide for tireless drive and with high probability, the V8 is also much more robust than the original built 133 PS strong 6 cylinder including Warner T-98 4-speed manual transmission. Although the exact parameters for the changed acceleration values are not available to us, more than the factory 89 km / h top speed is likely to be in any case. And so that the monster can be braked adequately again, of course, the brake system is generously dimensioned and adapted to the V8 engine. Here you have namely installed a hydraulic four-wheel drum brake system front and rear. Incidentally, almost completely standard is the completely restored and rebuilt body which was equipped only with additional boarding aids and otherwise brings nothing that is not absolutely necessary.

Furthermore, the factory installed and Sauschwere 2 PS front wind is probably still as vulnerable as it was then, and the classic convoy lamp on the front is still installed on the Jeep. The sturdy cabin has a sliding window but otherwise it was difficult to hold back with changes inside. Everything is still as it was then, but of course also completely reworked here. And there is a pretty bleak possibility even for two other passengers. On request, these can sit on two fixed seats directly in the loading area in wind and weather.
