Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG - Hammer Edition by Chelsea Truck Company

What Startech is for the Brabus brand is that CHELSEA TRUCK COMPANY for Kahn Design. A subsidiary that takes care of special car brands. At Chelsea, for example, it enters the Mercedes-Benz brand. And just in time for the Geneva Motor Show, the subsidiary of Kahn Design is presenting the "Chelsea Truck Company Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG - Hammer Edition", which for the most part comes with new aerodynamic parts from the familiar G6 Wide Track (and also the G6 from 2017) was equipped. The vehicle can be seen at stand 6338 in the exhibition halls. This time, however, as already mentioned, the basis is the top model G63 AMG with V8 BiTurbo and not the "normal" G-Class! Particularly striking is of course the eye-catching widebody kit, which consists of a new front and rear bumper, roof spoiler, and the beefy fender flares with exposed screw connections all around. The entire front grille has also been newly developed and gives the G-Class a new and very robust, striking appearance.

A highlight is of course the new wheel / tire combination in connection with a 50mm higher chassis. The aluminum rims installed here are retro G06 aluminum rims in 9 x 5 inches with a diamond cut satin surface. The classic design harmonizes very well with the eye-catching aerodynamic parts and, in conjunction with the lift kit, the G-Class looks significantly more massive and brawny than the production vehicle. The striking design is rounded off with a spare wheel cover including "Chelsea Truck" initials on the rear door. And the interior has also been extensively revised and so the G22 AMG got a new leather ambience and details such as the sun visors or the roof lining were also taken into account. The entire interior is handcrafted and forms the perfect contrast to the angular and robust silhouette on the outside. We don't have any more information at the moment. If we get more information about the modifications to the G63 AMG, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
