Perfect: ADV.1 Wheels on the Mercedes CLK63 Black Series

The Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series of the W209 model series came straight from the racetrack to the road. After all, the series version is an offshoot of the Formula 1 safety car at the time and is particularly impressive with its powerful appearance. Significantly wider cheeks all around, a rear section with four large exhaust pipes and of course the typical AMG aprons. Everything is designed for riot and that is especially true for the V8 under the bonnet. The 6,2-liter V8 delivers stately 507 PS & 630 NM and thus the possibility to accelerate to 14 km / h in under 200 seconds. In view of the not quite as sporty 1,7 tons curb weight a real announcement.

At the factory he stands on 19 inch big aluminum wheels with 265er tires in front and 285er slippers in the back. But the silver-painted and high-gloss AMG Performance rim with its filigree design is not for everyone. We also find the Alurad somehow too discreet with regard to the rest of the body. The owner of this copy looked like this and commissioned the tuner RACE! To improve SOUTH AFRICA. The team decided on a new wheelset from ADV.1 Wheels. Specifically, it is the type ADV.7 the Track Spec Series as a three-piece, matte black painted forge now in the format 20 inch fills the wheel arches.

The new wheelset is much more present and in our opinion only a lowering of approx. 30 mm is needed to round off the optical appearance down to the last detail. But even with the factory AMG sports suspension is the CLK63 AMG really sexy there. In the end everything is just a matter of personal taste. If we receive timely information on further changes to the Black Series CLK, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
