Not always reflected more horsepower also reflected in a faster time on the quarter mile. However, apart from the performance, the vehicles are almost identical (Drive, weight, gearbox etc.), then the most powerful vehicle should actually win a direct comparison under identical conditions. To find out, CarWow let three tuned Nissan GT-Rs compete against each other. The experiment shows the GT-Rs, all of which are stronger than the series. You want to find out if the performance actually affects the drag strip times.
1.600 hp vs. 1.000 hp vs. 650 hp
A GT-R is driven with 650 PS (484 kW) against a vehicle with 1.000 PS (745 kW) and against a GT-R with insane 1.650 PS (1.230 kW). The latter, however, stands up racing tiresWhich is of course a huge advantage, especially from a standing start. Even if the design of the GT-R can be described as "outdated", the performance of the VR38DETT-Bi-Turbo-V6 is still extremely brutal after a good 10 years of construction and even brand new engines can often not keep up.
