Honestly, we did not believe it anymore! After us the tuner PSM Dynamic, from Southern California, a good 18 months ago presented the spectacular virtual images of his widebody BMW M2 F87 Coupe, the alleged implementation came just under six months later - we reported. Definitely an interesting vehicle, but apart from a carbon front spoiler, side skirts, a diffuser and a noticeable fixed rear spoiler, there was basically nothing that clearly differentiated the M2 from the production vehicle.
In particular, the announced, significantly widened, fenders as well as side walls and the striking side skirts were missing in the actual implementation. But now PSM actually presented a 1: 1 implementation of their project in the form of a spectacular BMW M2 with carbon fiber widebody kit. While the bumper differs only marginally from that of the "interim solution", the side section of the M2 has been completely changed. There were extremely powerful attachments for the front fenders that were invisibly attached and form a transition to the front bumper.
The lines are continued by perfectly adapted side skirts which have air openings in the rear part which in turn merge directly into extremely widened wheel arches. And here too, in the rear part, it has been ensured that the bumper is adjusted accordingly and precisely fitting attachments have been installed on the right and left. We would also like to mention the grim-looking OneEighty main headlights which can optionally be provided with headlight covers, but can do without them on the presentation vehicle.
Regarding the wheelset installed here, we unfortunately have no information at the moment, but if we are not completely off the mark, it is rims from the MV Forged Wheels shelf. Thanks to a BR Racing coilover kit, the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch and of course the cornering and dynamics of the M2 increase immensely, especially with the Toyo Proxes tires. And so that the whole thing comes across as acoustically as powerful as it looks optically, there was also a stainless steel sports exhaust system from Armytrix that impressively shows in the video below what the six-cylinder BiTurbo is capable of.
Other minor changes are carbon elements in the air inlets of the bumper, black kidneys and gills, a spoiler lip on the tailgate and some glued-on notes about the companies involved. There is not much more to say due to the little information we have so that we leave it with the pictures and the video for the moment. Of course, if we get new details about the changes, there will be, as always, an update for this report.
