The Škoda RS models: traditionally sporty!

Mladá Boleslav – RS – at ŠKODA, these two letters have stood for 'rally sport' and thus for high performance for around 50 years. With the Fabia RS Rally2 as the youngest member of the ŠKODA RS family, the Czech car manufacturer wants to continue its successful streak in the Rally2 category on the racetrack. Since the year 2000, the abbreviation has also been used to identify the company's particularly sporty series models. In addition to the Octavia RS and the Octavia RS iV with plug-in hybrid drive, the portfolio currently also includes the SUV Kodiaq RS and the purely battery-electric Enyaq COUPÉ RS iV. The RS models show how motorsport and production vehicles benefit from mutual technology transfer.

The 1974 RS and 180 RS rally prototypes were given the additional name in 200 for the first time
Since 2000, sporty production models from the Czech car manufacturer have also carried the abbreviation
The RS portfolio currently includes the Octavia RS, the Octavia RS iV, the Kodiaq RS (fuel consumption (combined) 9,6 - 7,9 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions (combined) 218 - 179 g/km (WLTP values)) and the purely battery-electric Enyaq COUPÉ RS iV
With the model designation, the Fabia RS Rally2 builds a bridge to the legendary 'Monte' winner ŠKODA 130 RS
