In principle, one would like to think that the current Toyota GR Corolla as Hot Hatch is pretty crazy right out of the box. However, the team from the Japanese tuner is currently showing us that it can easily go one floor higher Tom's Racing. Because they have published pictures of their last project, which of course we cannot withhold from you, and which are based on a GR Corolla. With the photos, Tom's shows a first preview of a whole range of upgrades that will soon be available for the GR Corolla. And when you look at the conversion, the production model suddenly seems downright boring.
TOM's Racing Toyota GR Corolla
The Japanese tuner and racing team has chosen the project with the Japanese rally driver Takamoto katsuta teamed up to manufacture the tuning components for the GR Corolla. And of course the professional athlete knows exactly what is important.
Katasuta famously drives for that Toyota Gazoo Racing Team and he therefore not only focused on a sportier look, but also on the fact that the components actually "bring something". Tom's Racing refers to the conversion as GR Corolla Type TK and the new and particularly heavily modified front end of the Japanese is particularly striking. The GR Corolla shows up with a newly shaped, rectangular grille and also the powerful front splitter is not exactly an inconspicuous component. Incidentally, the same applies to the large aerodynamically shaped ones canards on both sides.

TOM's installed two of these on the right and left. On the one hand, the components are intended to support the cooling of the engine and, on the other hand, to improve drivability. And of course the modifications continue on the sides, where massive rocker panels and new fender gills can be seen.
At the rear there is also a towering one roof spoiler with numerous aerodynamic fins and the modified rear apron diffuser houses a sports exhaust system with 5 (!!!) tailpipes. The prices for the Type TK package have not yet been announced and other details such as the black alloy wheels and the Lowering are unknown. However, the first pre-orders should be accepted from March 1, 2023 and the market launch is likely between September and November.
