Does Toyota want to venture into international GT3 racing? We would appreciate it. And the spectacular GR GT3 Concept also suggests that. The study was, like the Toyota GRMN Yaris, Start of the week teased and is now officially presented with today's opening of the TAS (Tokyo Auto Salon 2022). However, the GR GT3 is based on keine current Toyota road vehicle. In other words, the vehicle couldn't be in GT3 competition in this form. Because this requires a road vehicle as a basis. Pity! And also a pity, Toyota has not released any technical details. Neither the engine nor the transmission or the key data on the weight are known. TGR introduced the GR GT3 Concept to encourage driver first car development and with the core idea of offering attractive cars that customers who compete in GT3 racing would choose. At least that's what Toyota says.
bZ4X GR Sport Concept
And also on display at the show is the Toyota bZ4X GR sports concept. Based on the bZ4X electric vehicle, Toyota says the bZ4X GR Sport Concept has "a high degree of environmental compatibility in combination with lots of driving fun“ in the luggage. Large black alloy wheels with low-profile tires are installed, there were special sports seats in the cabin and a matt black body. However, there is no more information here.
