Who no longer on the VW Golf R400 or R420 who would like to wait should contact the Chinese tuning company ASPEC. The Chinese were apparently so enthusiastic about the VW Golf R concept version presented in 2014 that they decided to simply bring the car onto the market with an extremely similar tuning package. I have to say, optically the whole thing looks quite chic and harmonious. The finished model is now officially called the PPV400 and was already presented at the 2015 auto show in Shanghai. The tuning team around ASPEC has on this VW Golf R made the changes below:

- Lamborghini Reventon Style front bumper with large hexagonal vents
- Hood with air intakes
- side skirts
- new alloy wheels
- Carbon fiber diffuser
- four new tailpipes with carbon accents
- unknown lowering

- other brake system
