The reasons for this are, in addition to the tiny internal antennas of the devices, the shielding vehicle walls and simply the built-in material. Then the reception strength indicator often only shows 1 to 2 bars and the data transmission becomes very slow. Little remains of the speed of modern connection standards. The new Maxview LTE Roam provides a remedy as a mobile 4G / WiFi solution and provides a stable Internet connection even in regions with weak reception. Component number 1 is the 4G / WiFi 360 ° omnidirectional antenna specially designed for recreational vehicles, which can either be mounted directly on the roof or the optional roof bracket, but of course also works without a fixed installation. With a diameter of less than 20 cm and a small height, it is extremely space-saving and does not have to be aligned after installation. It receives WiFi or LTE signals from all directions and thus ensures an ideal connection for all internet-enabled devices in the vehicle.

To set up your own WiFi network in and around the camping vehicle, all you need is the right router, which is included as a second component in the scope of delivery. This tries primarily to use external WiFi signals in order to conserve the data volume via cellular connections. However, if there is no WiFi, it automatically switches to 4G. He can establish Internet connections with any mobile phone provider and a SIM card. The router has a sturdy aluminum housing including a wall bracket, is astonishingly small at 8 cm in length and only requires a 12 V connection for operation. The 360 ° omnidirectional antenna on the roof is connected to the router with a connection cable. The latter can also simply be removed from the wall bracket without loosening screws or glue.
