Officially ... This is the new 2016 Ferrari 488 Spider

news from the manufacturer Ferrari, the latest creation that Ferrari presents to us is the 2016 Ferrari 488 Spider. We know some technical data about the Ferrari 488 Spider. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

These are the data we know about the Ferrari 488 Spyder:

  • Spider version with fixed folding roof
  • V8 mid-engine with turbocharging
  • foldable hardtop (opens and closes in 14 seconds)

  • electric rear window height adjustable in three positions
  • Spaceframe chassis made of eleven types of aluminum and precious metals
  • the Spyder has the same torsional and flexural strength as the closed Ferrari 488 Berlinetta variant (compared to the predecessor 458 Spider a gain of a good 23 percent)
  • 3,9 liter displacement
  • 492 kW / PS 670
  • maximum torque 760 Nm at 3.000 rpm.
  • 0 on Tempo 100 km / h in about 3 seconds (200 after 8,7 seconds)
  • Maximum 330 km/h
  • Cost about 230.000 €
