The contract period is always one year, the possible mileages range between 10.000 and 30.000 kilometers. With no down payment or final installment, the monthly subscription rates as an all-inclusive offer also cover vehicle tax and fully comprehensive insurance, all maintenance and inspection intervals that are due, as well as registration costs and broadcasting fees. Even the seasonal tires are included in the flat fee. For the customer, there are only additional expenses for fuel or electricity and operating materials such as engine oil, AdBlue or coolants. He thus enjoys the best possible cost transparency. After the end of the subscription and the return of the car, they can request a new Ford Auto subscription offer.

Interested parties can complete the Ford car subscription purely digitally and with just a few clicks via Fleetpool's modern online mobility shop - in line with the consumer behavior of the "Netflix generation". Special feature: The delivery and return of the vehicles takes place via the local, participating Ford dealer. This is also available as a contact for upcoming service or repair measures and is the "face to the customer".

With this innovative sales channel, which addresses the zeitgeist of 'use instead of owning', we are strengthening our brand and keeping the subscribers in the Ford cosmos throughout the entire contract period."
“In contrast to the car subscriptions of other manufacturers, Ford placed great value on including its own trading partners in the Ford car subscription from the very beginning. Fleetpool was able to implement exactly this approach through a digital in-house development,” says Fleetpool Deputy CEO Alexander Kaiser. "The 'Car Subscription Dealer Management System' we developed combines the advantages of digital ordering with customer proximity to the participating Ford partner." The Ford partner association was involved in the development from the start and was thus able to actively contribute valuable feedback from a retail perspective.
The car subscription central warehouse specially set up by Ford for the new mobility offer ensures good availability of the vehicles and also serves as an online marketplace. The subscribed cars are managed via the Car Subscription Dealer Management System (SDM) developed by Fleetpool. The user-friendly control software also handles all communication between the Ford partners and Fleetpool.
Car subscriptions are in vogue and are showing significant growth rates
The market for car subscriptions has developed positively in Germany in recent years. While there were only 2019 active contracts in 31.000, this number has more than doubled to an estimated 2021 car subscriptions by the end of 70.000. Management consultancy Roland Berger expects continued strong growth in the future and expects 2025 car subscription customers in Germany by 388.000. With its completely digital processing, the new form of mobility is intended to appeal primarily to younger people with higher educational qualifications.
