Since the introduction of the Forza 2015 in 125, over 160.000 Forza scooters have been sold in Europe, from the 125 to the 350 to the top-of-the-range Forza 750. The mix of sporty and tour-friendly qualities as well as a high-quality premium character is typical of Forza models . The Forza family of scooters has continued to evolve and improve over the years, with Honda's commitment to exceeding buyers' expectations with every upgrade.

For 2004, the midsize Forza received Honda's S-MATIC electronically controlled transmission, a smart key system including electronic immobilizer, advanced PGM-FI fuel injection, and underseat storage space for two full-face helmets. ABS technology followed in 2005. In 2008, luxurious extras were added such as an audio package, as well as an improved S-MATIC (with phased automatic shift mode) and an ABS combination brake system.

In 2016, the Forza 300 featured a new "sit-in" design that allowed two people to be comfortably carried, even at highway speeds. A radical revision followed in 2018 – lighter, smaller, sharper and sportier – while retaining the typical GT qualities; this was followed by the successful little brother, the Forza 125. A limited edition model with exclusive gray and black paintwork and a color-coordinated smart top case complemented the range for 2020. The Forza 2021 followed in 350. This shone more powerfully, cleaner and more desirable than ever and was also equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and the Honda Equipped with smartphone voice control. For the 2023 model year, the Forza 350 is now further enhanced with a design facelift, a revised cockpit and two new premium color options.

The Forza 350's stable chassis remains technically unchanged, as does the liquid-cooled 330 cc SOHC four-valve engine. The HSTC traction control (Honda Selectable Torque Control) ensures that the grip on the rear tire is always maintained. With an output of 21,5 kW (29 hp) and a maximum torque of 31,5 Nm, the single-cylinder heart inspires across the entire speed range and enables powerful acceleration, with a top speed of 137 km/h. Visually revised instruments provide information in the cockpit. The Forza 350 offers the option of connecting to a smartphone via Bluetooth via the standard Honda Voice Control System (HVCS). For model year 2023, both Android and iOS devices are compatible with HVCS. The 350 Forza 2023 is available in five colorways:

  • Pearl Sienna Red **NEW**
  • Matt Robust Gray Metallic **NEW**
  • Matt Pearl Pacific Blue (with new Bronze rims)
  • Matt Cynos Gray Metallic
  • Pearl Falcon Grey

3.1 Styling & equipment

  • Front fairing design update.
  • Elegant visual appearance in the style of the Forza 750 flagship.
  • Revised displays in the cockpit display.
  • Electric windshield with 180 mm adjustment range.
  • Storage space for two full-face helmets under the seat; with USB-C charging socket.
  • Smartkey system and (optional) 45 liter top case.
  • Indicators with emergency brake signal function.

  • Two new colors.

The Forza 350's sleek front fairing has been redesigned for aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency, with a new look inspired by that of the Forza 750. The design language conveys sportiness and high-quality charisma. The sleek LED headlights form part of the unmistakable Forza face, with clean and simple design lines that emphasize the premium appeal. The seat height is 780 mm. There is enough space under the seat to stow two full-face helmets. If required, the storage space can also be subdivided to carry a helmet plus rain protection or a bag. A lockable storage compartment in front of the leg room offers additional space for small items such as a mobile phone or a water bottle. A USB-C charging socket is also on board. The Forza 350 uses high-quality LED lighting technology all around for the headlight, taillight and indicators.

To ensure contemporary connectivity, the Forza 350 features the Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVC), which connects the rider to their Android device and provides voice management of phone calls, messages, music and navigation. In 2023, some of the HSVC features will also be accessible on IOS smartphones. Smartphones can be connected via Bluetooth; a helmet with headset is also required Smartphone operation is via voice commands or the control panel on the left of the handlebar. In addition to the master ignition switch and seat lock, the Forza 350's smart key system also activates the optional 45-liter smart top case. With the smart key in the driver's pocket, the top case is unlocked and also automatically locked when the driver moves away from the vehicle. The locking system can also be locked with the smart key element.

The turn signals are self-resetting. In addition, front and rear indicators have an ESS emergency brake signal function (Emergency Stop Signal Function). As soon as the ABS control unit detects an abrupt braking manoeuvre, the hazard warning lights flash more frequently to warn other road users. The newly designed cockpit features an analog speedometer and rev counter, plus a digital display that can be switched between three modes: 1) odometer, remaining range and current fuel consumption, 2) trip meter, average fuel consumption and timer, and 3) air temperature and battery indicator.

3.2 Engine

  • 330 cm3-Single-cylinder engine with 29 hp (21,5 kW) and 31,5 Nm torque.
  • Advanced eSP+ engine shines with low-friction technology and economical consumption (3,3 liters per 100 km).

The Forza 350's eSP+ (enhanced Smart Power+) engine uses low-friction technologies to protect the environment, but is still not stingy with performance. The peak performance of the SOHC 330-valve injection engine with XNUMX cc3 Displacement is 29 hp (21,5 kW) at 7.500 rpm, maximum torque is 31,5 Nm at 5.250 rpm and top speed is 137 km/h. From a standing start, the Forza 350 sprints through the 200 meter mark in 10,4 seconds when accelerating. The bore is 77 mm in combination with 70,8 mm stroke, the compression 10,5:1. Roller rocker arms and plain bearings help to keep friction losses as low as possible. For internal cooling, an oil jet sprays onto the piston crown from below (as with the CRF450R motocrosser), which helps improve performance and durability. The oil volume is 1,8 liters.

A 36 mm throttle body draws the intake air via a 5,5 liter air box. In the intake tract, the gas-air mixture is swirled in a targeted manner, which benefits optimal combustion and supports performance. The shapely silencer is constructed with two separate chambers to reduce exhaust resistance. Internal friction is reduced by a 5 mm offset cylinder, a hydraulic chain tensioner and an oil scavenge pump. In high-performance engines, the pump lowers the internal pressure in the engine, reduces oil movements and reduces pumping losses and internal friction at bearing points. A balancer shaft reduces vibrations and contributes to the pleasant driving experience.

The centrifugal clutch makes handling the Forza 350 easy, simply turn the throttle grip and the scooter starts moving. There is no need to shift through gears, this task is performed by a stepless automatic system, with a low-maintenance toothed belt transferring the driving force to the rear wheel. Starting and accelerating is done in no time at all, literally. The engine is equipped with HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control) traction control. The system matches front and rear wheel revolutions, calculates slip ratio and adjusts engine torque accordingly via PGM-FI fuel injection. This prevents a slipping rear wheel and loss of grip. A T symbol illuminates in the cockpit when the system is working. The engine meets the Euro 5 emissions standard. Low consumption (3,3 l per 100 km) and a tank capacity of 11,7 liters enable a range of over 340 km.

3.3 landing gear

  • Short wheelbase with steering geometry for agile handling.
  • Compact dimensions and comfortable seat height.
  • Wheels with cast aluminum rims, 14 inches at the front and 15 inches at the rear.

A torsion-resistant tubular steel frame forms the backbone of the Forza 350 and enables a secure road holding that helps to build confidence. The wheelbase is 1.510 mm, the steering head angle is 26,5° and the trail is 89 mm. The radiator is placed in front of the fuel tank for efficient cooling and mass-centralized weight distribution. The battery is positioned between the tank and storage compartment under the seat, which also helps with good balance. The weight with a full tank is 186 kg.

The seat height measures 780 mm, the upright sitting position promotes a flawless
all-round view. The handlebar width is 754 mm, the width of the front end is 580 mm and the mirror width is 860 mm. Compact dimensions make it easier to drive in the city area and, of course, to manoeuvre. A comfortably tuned 33 mm telescopic fork is complemented by two rear shock absorbers whose spring preload can be adjusted in 5 stages. The one-piece rear swing arm is made of cast aluminum. A 15-inch front wheel fitted with a 120/70-15 tire takes the lead. The rear wheel is 14 inches with a 140/70-14 tire. A 256 mm disc brake with double-piston caliper decelerates the front wheel, while a 240 mm disc brake with single-piston caliper supports the deceleration work on the rear wheel. Dual-channel ABS facilitates safe braking, even if the road surface turns out to be slippery than expected.
