Yesterday the website has the rim label Vossen Wheels spit out a monster that we can not deny you! There was a Brabus Mercedes G-Class on the brand new S17-01 rim. The absolute highlight of the vehicle is, of course, the extensive Brabus conversion to which, unfortunately, we have virtually no information. Last year, Brabus presented the new one Brabus 900 G-Class (Based on G65 AMG) with a breathtaking 900 PS & 1500 NM torque, and limited to 10 pieces, the absolute benchmark for refined G models. Unfortunately, we do not know at the moment whether it is such a specimen or a Brabus 700 (or 800 etc.) based on the G63. What is certain, however, is that the latest version of the BRABUS WIDESTAR body kit is installed here and that consists of the following components.
A carbon air scoop with special bonnet, fender flares for twelve centimeters more width which also include doors, front and rear WIDESTAR fenders with integrated LEDs, footboards with illuminated lighting, a front spoiler for the standard apron, an additional carbon fiber cover under the grille, a new Design front grille with BRABUS logo, a rear apron with central reflector + LED reversing lights, a BRABUS roof spoiler and a massive bull catcher in front. On request, there are of course any frills for the interior and various sports exhaust systems to 23 inch large alloy wheels are also available.
But for the wheel set, the owner did not want to use the in-house Brabus rims, but decided on the brand new S17-01 rim from the Vossen shelf. The "G-Monster" got the wheel set in 22 × 10,5 inches all around and the shiny black surface of the aluminum was the best decision considering the body, which is completely covered in black. The wheel set comes with Vossen hub caps including a red logo and complements perfectly with the red painted brake calipers of the huge sports brake system.
We hope that we will receive some information about the vehicle in the next few days because we would like to have some more information especially regarding the Brabus performance enhancement or changes in the interior. - Performance increase e.g. for the G65 AMG (peak output 662 kW / 900 PS at 5.500 rpm (maximum torque of 1.500 Nm at 4.200 tours) - (displacement expanded to 6,3 liters, BRABUS special crankshaft milled from solid with longer stroke, enlarged cylinder bores , forged pistons, special connecting rods milled from solid, supercharger with larger compressor unit and turbine + modified exhaust manifolds, 80 millimeter downpipes, back pressure reducing metal catalysts, newly programmed engine electronics with special maps for injection and ignition, modified boost pressure control)
- 3,9 seconds from 0 - 100 km / h
- Top speed electronically limited to 270 km / h
- BRABUS "PLATINUM EDITION" High-tech forged wheels in 23 inches (eg BRABUS monoblock "PLATINUM EDITION" wheel designs F and R, 11Jx23 high-tech forged wheels all around, with YOKOHAMA ADVAN Sport in 305 / 35 ZR 23, optionally forged wheels in the two BRABUS monoblocks Designs E evo and Y)
- BRABUS fine leather interior with individual seats in the rear
- flap-controlled BRABUS stainless steel high-performance exhaust system. (with integrated sound management - adjustable at the push of a button on the steering wheel, two tailpipes each left and right in front of the rear wheels,)
- BRABUS intake module 900 (air filter housing with enlarged intake cross section, special filter, "Gold Heat Reflection" coating for lowering the temperature)
- wider track
- High-performance brake system Version V (front axle with ventilated and perforated brake discs in 412 x 38 millimeter format, 8 piston-aluminum fixed callipers, steel-flex brake lines, high-performance brake fluid from technology partner Motul)
- Original direction indicator located on the top of the fenders and replaced with sight-carbon screens
- Ride Control suspension in cooperation with technology partner BILSTEIN (all around double electrically adjustable shock absorbers, automatic damper adjustment)
