The Mini brand is currently in the middle of the anniversary year. Finally, the legend came in the year 1959 on the market. And the sporting qualities of the 3,05 meter box are still unforgettable. For example, there was nothing less than 3's overall win at the Monte Carlo Rally! Most manufacturers can do that CAN'T show. And now celebrate David Brown Automotive with sixty cool Restomod-Minis as Oselli Edition the birthday of the Kampfzwerg. A good 2 years David Brown Automotive already sells the "Mini Remastered" for the price of about 60.000 Euro on which the edition is based. The base comes with over 80 PS as Restomod version and now leads in the Oselli Edition top model. And especially under the hood, something has happened. The classic 1,3-liter four-cylinder gets 1.420 cubic centimeter capacity and draws from now on powerful 101 PS. Considering the series as Mini Cooper S with 76 PS a clear difference.

And the performance increase reaches the British company with very classic methods and the help of the British vintage restorer and tuner Oselli. In addition to the increased displacement, there is an optimized air intake and the exhaust side has also been revised. The tuning is optically rounded off with an engine cover made of cast aluminum with a plaque. To do this, the five-speed gearbox is improved and the gun is given a thoroughbred sports chassis. The Oselli Edition has fully adjustable Spax dampers and with the gold or silver painted Enkei 7 x 13 inch aluminum with wide tires, the go-kart feeling is guaranteed. Incidentally, the Mini is slowed down by a new brake system with four-piston calipers, and there are aluminum drum brakes at the front and rear. Visually, the Oselli Edition can be recognized by the paintwork in white or dark gray and there are purple, blue or green racing stripes over the small bonnet.
The stripes also stretch over the roof and even the flanks are painted accordingly. It continues with black accents on the front (Bonnet with emblem by David Brown Automotive), the rear, the wheel arches, the rear-view mirrors and the door handles. At the front, the racing look is impressive with the grille, the two LED fog lamps and the central "60" as an indication of the limitation. Incidentally, it can also be found at the rear. And there are two variants to choose from for the cabin. Either as a luxurious four-seater or as a particularly spartan two-seater that even has a roll cage in the color of the racing stripes. The racing variant has 2 bucket seats with Sabelt four-point belts and a sporty Alcantara steering wheel.

And the serial number can also be found on the glove compartment lid as an indication of the limitation. There is always a modern air conditioning system, a decent hi-fi system and a modern seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and everything that makes driving pleasant. Racing suits, helmets and other equipment are available as accessories. Only the price of at least €130.000 for the four-seater or almost €144.000 for the two-seater spoils the whole thing a bit.
