The standard Corvette ZR1 is certainly not a car that a layman can handle directly. Over 750 horsepower from a supercharged 6,2-liter LT5 V8 sent to the rear wheels alone is certainly not for beginners. But the team at Hennessey Performance doesn't bother with logic or even rational thinking when it comes to their tuning performance kits. For the tuning shop, the motto is: "go big or go home"! And that's especially true with the new HPE1000 ZR1 upgrade kit. Although the mid-engine C8 has long since replaced the C7, Hennessey is happy to equip the C7 ZR1 with an even better LT5 V8 kit. And the footage from the following video, posted recently on the Pennzoil Proving Grounds race track have been created show that the C7 is no longer built, but is still a real supercar.

2023 HPE 1000 Kit by Hennessey Performance

With the fast camera work combined with the impressive driving style, we see that the 2023 hp upgrade kit for the C1000 generation Vette, newly developed for 7, can still outperform almost everything. Because the mentioned 1.000 hp are now joined by an insane 1.310 Nm of torque. The kit not only ensures impressive driving performance, the exhaust system with the high performance catalysts also creates an insane soundscape. With details like a revised High-flow suction system, new components for the interior of the engine and different software, the result is even more impressive than the previous variant. Because so far there was "only" a maximum of 1.144 NM torque. Incidentally, the current kit also comes with a 36.000-mile guarantee (alternatively 36 months). Alternatively, there is also an HPE850 kit.
