400PS & 550NM- Tij-Power refines the Ford Focus RS

Can you still remember Tij-Power from Paderborn? We haven't published any of the boys' vehicles for a long time on tuningblog.eu, but that doesn't mean the riot guns like that 319PS VW Polo GTi 9N or even the mighty one Seat Leon 1M Cupra R with 373 PS are forgotten. And so that we can refresh your thoughts on Tij a bit, we have found a very potent and brand new project and thought we would introduce it to you. The basis this time was the current Ford Focus RS MK3, which is already equipped with launch control, intelligent all-wheel drive and an adjustable chassis ex works. But of course there is also a lot of potential with the Focus, in terms of optics and of course performance, to really go for it. Let's start with what the tuner is known for the performance increase. The turbo and engine specialists push the 2.3l 4-cylinder to almost 400PS and a huge 550NM torque and the beautiful, it doesn't require any rocket science. The Focus gets a new downpipe, a hand-welded stainless steel flap sports exhaust system with a diameter of 76 millimeters and of course in-house chip tuning. In the end, thanks to the boost pressure increase to approx. 1.8 bar, there is the significant increase in performance that pushes the focus to the specified almost 400PS.

The performance plus also includes a KW coilover kit variant 3, the chassis is fully adjustable in height, rebound and compression and optimally reduces the distance between the new OZ Ultraleggera alloy wheels and the wheel arch. If that's not enough for you, you should be patient because Tij is currently working on a brutal 500+ PS version. To achieve this, the tuner will equip the RS with a new intercooler, turbo hybrid upgrade as well as a new intake and other details. Until then, the current version with 400PS should be more than sufficient. The team from Tij-Power has released the Focus RS the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the first pictures. After the extensive tuning cure that the Fcous was allowed to endure, it is now visually much more individual and sporty than the production version and can do more than justice to the whole thing in connection with the increase in performance. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a new Focus MK3 RS for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, Tij-Power is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily located near the tuner, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the tuning partner on site.
