Video: Full power - reached 420 km / h in the Bugatti Chiron

Really many videos in which the Bugatti Chiron can show what he is capable of, there is not yet. Even Bugatti's promo video just lets the super sports car accelerate to 400 km / h and then crashes. But finally someone dared! And indeed, the owner of this Bugatti Chiron drove on the 2,3 miles long runway of the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds at Merritt Island (Florida) incredible 420 km / h.

theoretically even more goes

Again, it should be mentioned that the converted 261 miles per hour are the only reason because the Chiron is electronically limited. The 1.500 PS and 1.600 Nm torque of the W16 turbo engine are theoretically sufficient to break the 450 km / h barrier. He would be faster than the Koenigsegg Agera RS whose record is at 446 km / h.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
