Tuner DMC from Germany is currently working on an extensive carbon aerodynamic kit for the classic Porsche 911 of the 993 model generation. And you don't just want to equip the 993 with carbon components; entire components are replaced with components made of the ultra-light material. And it would probably be easier to show which components are still the old ones in the end. The majority is completely new! For example, there would be the complete engine cover including the rear wing. But the significantly widened fenders, the aprons at the front and rear and also the trunk lid in the front are then completely new and made of carbon. And the body kit should not only look high quality, it should ensure that everyone XNUMX to the rare Limited edition EVO GT2 is.
Replica of the Limited edition EVO GT2
And that's why you also used a former vehicle that was auctioned by Mecum Auctions (Walworth, Wisconsin) as a template and virtually installed a DMC badge at the rear. In the end, this is what a DMC RS 993 should look like once all the registers have been drawn and there is every financial leeway. The vehicle from the photo is one of only 11 REAL copies ever built. He is not the most blatant Porsche and not the fastest either, but in combination with a road registration he set the absolute benchmark at the time. The 2020 has an extremely spartan interior and (as of 2) only 600 owners. Under the hood, 665 HP and a maximum torque of 3,8 Newton meters are waiting for the use, which he conjures up from a 4,0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with bi-turbo charging. It is shifted by means of a manual six-speed gearbox and, of course, all-wheel drive is used. And the replica should receive a similar amount of power. For the conversion, DMC offers extensive modifications for the factory engine, but alternatively a 6-liter vacuum can also be installed, which delivers an impressive 400 hp and 450 Nm of torque as a classic air-cooled XNUMX-cylinder.
Chassis, rims, engine, tires, etc. - all available
In addition, there is a new sports suspension with electronic control and there is also something ready for the wheel arches. Countless rims are available here and as a recommendation regarding the tires, DMC speaks of the Pirelli P Zero Corsa type in the format 295/30/18 front and 335/30/18 rear. If desired, a Brembo CCM-R carbon ceramic system with 15-inch (approx. 38 cm) discs can be installed as a braking system, which ensures a deceleration appropriate for the vehicle. DMC shows with the white one Original Limited Edition EVO GT2 should look like a complete conversion and we are excited to see whether such a vehicle will come soon. By the way, one secretly hopes that one of the customers will decide to want a vehicle with full carbon fiber. If we receive timely information about a complete conversion, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
