With a breathtaking 630PS & 1.000NM torque, the Mercedes Benz S65 AMG is the king of the W222 series and sets, at least on paper, the benchmark in the luxury class and even has more power than the brand new one BMW M760Li with 610PS & 800 NM. If you look at the acceleration values then the S-Class lags behind the Munich flagship. But apart from a few tenths of a difference in acceleration, there isn't really a blatant difference to be noted, and it is without a doubt an absolutely impressive vehicle. So what could you change on the luxury-class flagship without negatively affecting the style of the vehicle? Of course, a few technical changes would be possible. So, as we already know, the V12 BiTurbo can be persuaded to produce 700 hp and more. But what could be done optically to make the W222 look a little more individual?
For example, you might miss him with a set of new rims and a discreet aerodynamics package. That's exactly what the South American tuner RACE has! SOUTH AFRICA did the days and put a S65 AMG on a set of HRE Performance Wheels S209H in us of unknown size. Should we guess we would guess that it is 20 or maximum 21 inch large rims. The design of the new wheels, with its dark gray surface and polished rim base, fits perfectly with the S65, which has plenty of chrome accents all around. But not only the new wheelset makes the difference but also a discreet carbon front spoiler lip including side flaps and a discreet spoiler lip on the boot lid, a roof spoiler and a diffuser insert in the rear bumper.
Unfortunately, we also don't know the manufacturer of the aerodynamic parts, but Vorsteiner would be a suitable candidate and also offers accessories for this model. RACE! With the S-Class, SOUTH AFRICA shows an impressive and elegantly modified upper-class vehicle that has retained its chic style throughout, even with accessories.
