2024 Dodge Charger Daytona electric muscle car!

The automotive world is at the dawn of a new era, and Dodge is leading the revolution with the introduction of the first purely electric muscle cars at the Dodge charger daytona. It combines the power and spirit of its predecessors with today's technology and opens a new chapter in the history of American muscle cars. The Charger Daytona is based on the innovative STLA Large Platform from Stellantis and uses 400 volt technology, which up to 500 kW drive power made possible by two motors with 250 kW each. The force catapults the vehicle in just 3,3 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and makes it possible to do the quarter mile approximately 11,5 seconds to be completed. A special feature is the division of the electric motors between the axles, with one installed at the front and one at the rear. The layout allows all wheel drive standard on all new Chargers, a significant departure from traditional rear-wheel-drive muscle cars.

The all-wheel drive technology not only supports improved acceleration through more traction, but also marks a turning point in the design of high-performance cars. The Battery of the Charger Daytona touches down NCA Chemistry and delivers a gross capacity of 100,5 kWh. With a peak discharge power of 550 kW the vehicle is perfectly equipped for maximum acceleration. The charger also features efficient charging capability, with the ability to charge in just 27 Minutes to charge from 20 to 80 percent, which is an average charging power of 133 kW corresponds. The specified range is for the Daytona R/T version 317 miles (approx. 510 km) and for the Scat Pack model 260 (approx. 418 km).

The drag and track modes are new

In addition to the well-known driving modes such as Car, Eco, Sport and Wet/Snow The Charger Daytona has exclusive modes for racing enthusiasts. And that one Drag and Track mode. Track mode maximizes performance on dry, smooth surfaces, while Drag mode ensures optimal acceleration on the dragstrip. The offer is supplemented by one Drift and a donut mode, which are designed for spectacular driving maneuvers. One of the most striking innovations of the electric Daytona is this Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust System, a patented invention that produces an exhaust sound. The system uses two passive radiators that break the silence of a typical BEV and instead deliver a sound worthy of muscle car tradition.

A six-cylinder will also come

The Charger Daytona is offered in two variants: Scat Pack and R/T, each as a two- or four-door model. Production begins at the Windsor plant in Ontario two-door from mid-2024 and that Four-door starting in the first quarter of 2025. Dodge also plans to use the flexibility of the STLA Large platform to launch a combustion engine version in 2025 Charger six pack, to introduce the one of three liters six-cylinder is driven in two power levels. With the Charger Daytona electric muscle car Dodge is sending a clear signal for the future of performance cars by combining tradition with innovative technology to create a driving experience that is both powerful and sustainable.
