The 1977 Dodge Tradesman Van is a classic from the 70s, which still has many fans with its striking design, especially today. But what if you spice up this classic car with modern technology and a luxurious interior? That's exactly what the tuner has Legacy classic trucks from Wyoming and a spectacular restomod called "Legacy Tradesman Van“ that combines the best of both worlds. The tuner has been known for its elaborate conversions of various Jeeps and Dodge Power Wagons, but this time they have ventured into something completely different: a Dodge Tradesman van, which the owner discovered by chance on a Chicago street on his wedding day. The van was in poor condition but still had its original Chrysler 318CI V8 engine under the hood.

Instead of installing a completely new engine, decided Legacy classic trucks to completely overhaul and tune the 5,2 liter engine so that it now delivers 610 NM of torque. The brakes and chassis have also been renewed and the van has also been fitted with a set of classic Cragar S/S rims. The restomod's exterior has been largely left in its original state to retain its 70s charm. The van even still has its original bright orange and brown paintwork with an eye-catching pattern. New details include a new gas cap, a covered rear spare wheel, two round windows on the sides and a side exhaust system (sidepipe) with perforated heat shields. The rear windows have also been covered with louvers to provide more privacy.

the cabin has also been completely transformed

The interior of the van has been completely redesigned and now offers a high level of comfort and a lot of retro flair. The walls, ceiling and door panels are lined with orange shaggy carpet, which also bears the "built-in bed“ overcast. A lava lamp, a disco ball, a small leather table, an old TV with VHS player and a new infotainment display on the dashboard provide entertainment. The van also features a new electrical system and a large lithium-ion battery that can power two air conditioners and an 18-speaker 2.000-watt sound system for up to two days.
